Over 250 regulators, thought leaders, and industry stakeholders attended the IAGR2022 just concluded last week in Melbourne.
President and CEO of the Jersey Gambling Commission, Jason Lane, IAGR, said, “I believe IAGR2022 was the best conference ever, with exceptiona speakers talking about several insights, research topics, and innovations to everyone.”
“We are taking a new turn in 2023, and I’m happy to announce that Gaborone, Botswana, will host the conference in the year.”
IAGR2022 conference held in partnership with Hosts, the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission. Although not every interested regulator was able to travel down to Melbourne to attend. But, a provision was made. Those who couldn’t travel to Melbourne for the conference can still access the event’s content with a digital ticket. This ticket gives access to the recorded sessions.
The conference involved around 40 speakers and members of the panel, including:
Andrew Rhodes (CEO, Gambling Commission United Kingdom), Fran Thorn (Chair, Victorian Gambling, and Casino Control Commission), Professor Sally Gainsbury (Director, Gambling Treatment and Research Clinic, Brain and Mind Center, University of Sydney), Philip Crawford, Chairperson (NSW Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority Anders Dorph, Director, Danish Gambling Authority), Tom Mungham(CEO and Registrar, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario), and Tracy Schrans (Principal and President, Focal Research Consultants).
