The National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) is ready for Nigeria’s first international gaming conference. The event will feature leading international gaming companies from the USA, UK, South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, and other countries on October 31 and November 1, 2023.
NLRC Director General Lanre Gbajabiamila has offered comprehensive insights into the preparations for an imminent global event. He underscored the Commission’s relentless dedication and thoroughness to ensuring the triumph of this international conference.

In addition, according to the Commission’s Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Mr. Magnus Ekechukwu, the upcoming conference will feature inspiring messages from several prominent figures in the industry—Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Youth and Sports; Honourable Ahmed Aliyu Abdullahi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs; and Dr. Bello Maigari the Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund.
The conference will feature thought-provoking papers from esteemed scholars and industry experts. These include Mr. Emolemo Peter Kesitilwe, Acting CEO of the Botswana Gambling Authority, and Professor Rachel Volberg of the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
