The 8th Annual Sports Betting East Africa+ Summit (SBEA+) will be held in Kampala, Uganda, on July 13 and 14, 2023.
East Africa is becoming, at a fast pace, a perfect destination for establishing igaming services. Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Uganda are the five regions in East Africa. Operators with well-outlined goals and strategies can penetrate the market in each region, but not without some challenges. And this is where the yearly SBEA+ summit comes in.
SBEA+ has been a helpful summit where advancements made and difficulties overcome in the last 7 years are reviewed. All scheduled topics are geared towards how igaming services can be rendered responsibly in East Africa.
About 30 speakers who are African operators, payment and software providers, manufacturers, betting consultants, regulators, and other stakeholders have been confirmed for this year’s summit.
Some hot topics that will be discussed include:
- Social Responsibility From Businesses And Government In Gaming
- How To Stay Relevant In The Growing African Market
- The Future Of Mobile Gaming Apps
- The Growing E-Sports Popularity In East Africa Cryptocurrency As A Payment
- Updates On Igaming Taxes In Africa
Private lunches, cocktail evenings, and other activities have been organized to facilitate networking. This year’s summit, which is set to hold at the Kabira Country Club in Kampala, will solidify the progress made in prior SBEA+events.
